അന്തിക്കാട്സ്
അന്തിക്കാടിൻ കുളിരോർമകൾ
ദുബായ് മണ്ണിൽ മുളച്ചപ്പോൾ
ആളൊന്നായി, രണ്ടാളായി
ഒത്തൊരുമിച്ചത് തണലായി മാറി.
മറ്റൊരു സ്വപ്നമായ് അന്തിക്കാടീ
മരുഭൂമണ്ണിൽ വേരോടി…
പ്രവാസമണ്ണിൻ ഉഷ്ണക്കാറ്റിൽ,
ഉദിച്ചുയർന്ന നഗരത്തണലിൽ,
അന്തിക്കാടിൻ ശ്വാസവും താളവും,
ചേർന്നുണ്ടായൊരു കൂട്ടായ്മ.
ഓർമ്മയിലെ ഉത്സവവും,
കഥയും, കവിതയും, കഥകളിയും,
ഹരിതയാം വയലും, കായൽക്കരയും,
അന്തിക്കാടിൻ നറുമണവും,
എന്നും നമ്മിൽ ചേർന്നൊഴുകി.
ഇന്നും നമ്മിലൊരുറവുണ്ട്,
ഏറെ ദൂരം താണ്ടീട്ടും
അന്തിക്കാടിനിളം കാറ്റിൽ
വീണ്ടും പൂക്കുമാ ഹൃത്ബന്ധം.
അത്രമേലതുല്യമാം
അന്തിക്കാടിൻ നന്മയിൽ,
വരൂ, നമുക്കിന്നൊന്നായ് മാറാം
സൗഹൃദ സ്നേഹ തണൽമരമാകാം!
A STORY UNTOLD, A HEART UNKNOWN!
Some call me innocent,
Some say I’m cruel.
Some think I’m clever,
Some think I’m a fool.
Some say I’m rich,
Some say I’m poor.
Some call me a friend,
Some close the door.
But here’s the truth, plain to see,
I’m not what they think of me.
I’m not their words, their doubt, their praise—
I’m just myself, through all the maze.
I am the laughter, I am the pain,
I am the sunshine, I am the rain.
No mask, no show, no hidden plea—
I am me. Just me.
